Flamenco First Fridays @ Solaluna

A lecture series for anyone wanting to better understand the many rhythms in flamenco, this once a month series makes the complicated rhythms in flamenco accessible. The emphasis of these classes is to better understand how the dance fits with the music and to differentiate between palos (musical styles within flamenco). Dancers, musicians of all genres, flamenco aficionados, and anyone curious about flamenco are welcome! On June 7th, we will focus on the musical style known as soleá and some of its variations.
